Strucural Inspection

Brant Auto Body is licenced by the MTO as a Motor Vehicle Structural Safety Inspection Station.

If your vehicle has been branded through the Ministry of Transportations Mandatory Branding program, you are required to have
a vehicle structural safety Inspection in order to certify the car back on the road. If you have a "Salvage" title, upon recieving the certificate your vehicle
will be registered as a "Rebuilt" title with the MTO. The following paperwork is necessary for the Inspection process.

A copy of the estimate or appraisal stating the vehicle is a "Total Loss" (usually from an Insurance company or Independant appraiser)
4 colour photos, showing each side of the vehicle (prior to repairs)
1 colour photo showing vehicle on frame machine (during repairs)
Copies of all parts Invoices needed for repairs...Used parts must clearly show the donor V.I.N.
4 wheel alignment with print out. The mechanic MUST also sign the invoice, along with the mechanics
trade certificate #. **NOTE** If you are having this done before the inspection, make sure
the mechanic is willing to do this before the alignment is done.

Brant Auto Body will then inspect the repairs to ensure the vehicle meets within the manufactures specifications
(measurements, welds, structure points, seals, ect...) and prepare the necessary documents on behalf of MTO.
